This advanced yoga teacher training program is for currently certified 200 hour yoga teachers who would like to deepen their study of yoga, philosophy, anatomy, and the business of yoga. Graduates of the program become 500 Hour Certified teachers. Join us to learn more about this transformational programming running Fall 2024-Spring 2025.

Through deeper stillness stretching, you will experience release of overly tight areas in your body and a profound sense of presence in your mind. IRON Flow

IRON Flow combines the mindful movements of yoga with the added strength of resistance training by adding hand weights or kettlebells to your flow! Practice begins with breath work and yoga sequencing that will be incorporated throughout the class to enhance the mindfulness of moving weight purposefully through the postures. 

The added value of added strength work into your practice will leave you feeling stronger and more resilient on and off your mat. 

This class is recommended for practitioners who are familiar with yoga. 


Candlelit Meditative Flow

We like to call this "the goldilocks" class. Not too hard, but not too easy. Not too hot, not too cool. A balance of body and mind in a mindful and meditative flow. You will experience effort and ease from the beginning breath work,  through each posture and savasana.

Yin is a floor based series of postures focusing on increasing flexibility and calming the mind.

SPA Yoga® is a slow-flow, floor-based, whole-body sensory experience based on Fluid Yoga® sequencing.


Morning Metta Meditation

Schedule

A community offering to begin our day together in a moment of meditation. Metta meditation is a loving kindness practice which works to cultivate compassion within us and for others.

For an optimal meditation experience begin by arranging your home environment to support minimal distractions and meaningful reminders. Then arrange your body with the seven pointed posture of Vairocana: 

(1) Sit in a comfortable cross-legged position

(2) Sit up straight

(3) Chin slightly tucked so the back of your neck and entire spine is aligned. 

(4) Let your shoulders relax

(5) Place your hands in your lap and allow your left hand to receive your right with palms facing up and thumbs touching, or place them palms down on your knees.

(6) Open your eyes and gaze toward the tip of your nose, or if you prefer, close your eyes.

(7) Let the tip of your tongue gently touch the upper palate.

Coffee and Conversations

Join us in the studio lobby for coffee and conversations (coffee optional - good company included). 

Each week we will begin with a short meditation followed by discussion on a different aspect of Buddhist philosophy as a way to inspire happiness in our own lives and the lives of others by more meaningful and virtuous living. 

This is a free offering and open to ALL. If you have a spiritual or religious practice already, you may find that Buddhist philosophy can serve as a way to enhance what you already do. If you are a spiritual seeker, perhaps this is what you have been seeking. 


Dharma Discussion

Dharma refers to the teachings on the nature of reality by The Buddha. In our monthly gathering we discuss various concepts of these teachings such as The Four Noble Truths, the way of a Bodhisattva, The Heart Sutra and more, and the application of these teachings in our lives.
