Hi! I'm Mallory and my family just moved back to VA from living overseas in Japan! I am looking forward to both teaching and connecting with new faces. After leaving my position as an elementary school teacher, I have been working as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer for the last 11 years. Although I enjoy teaching strength and conditioning, my real passion is Barre and Pilates. Connecting mind and body is transformative in the studio space. I'm honored to be able to help people make that link and feel proud of the time they've dedicated to getting stronger. In my free time I enjoy being with my family. My husband and I have been married for 15 years, and we have three daughters. I am a coffee addict who loves to read and take long walks. As a family, we enjoy board games, movies, and adventures. We hiked Mt. Fuji last year and it is one of our very best memories as a team of five.
Megan found yoga in her own search for peace, meaning and movement. A great friend recommended WheelHouse and she now cannot imagine life without yoga or the Wheelhouse community. Megan seeks wonder and joy in the everyday through her yoga practice, long walks outside, shared laughter, exploration, curiosity, and constant learning. In her vinyasa styles classes, she invites you to rediscover your wonder and deep knowing through the joy of mindful movement and in letting go of what life should look like. She is a catalyst to fostering connection—both on and off the mat—between body, mind, spirit and in her community and hopes to help her students reignite the flame, flow, love and limitlessness within.
