Jenny was introduced to yoga as a child, and it has been part of her life ever since. She started attending classes at Wheelhouse Yoga when she was in high school, and found yoga to be very beneficial to her physical and mental health.
While Jenny was in college at James Madison University, she became trained as a Group Exercise Instructor through the University Recreation Center. She taught yoga classes to JMU students for two years, and found great purpose and fulfillment in sharing yoga through teaching.
When Jenny found herself back in the northern Virginia area, she decided to sign up for the Fluid Yoga Teacher Training at Wheelhouse and earned her 200 hour certification. Jenny still loves practicing yoga for the physical and mental benefits, but now her favorite part of yoga is the supportive and compassionate community she has found through it.
Jenny aims to create a space for students to connect with themselves, each other, and the world around them through yoga. Her thoughtful sequencing and mindful cues offer a well rounded class experience that invites students to look within, challenge themselves, and have fun.
