IRON Flow combines the mindful movements of yoga with the added strength of resistance training by adding hand weights or kettlebells to your flow! Practice begins with breath work and yoga sequencing that will be incorporated throughout the class to enhance the mindfulness of moving weight purposefully through the postures.
The added value of added strength work into your practice will leave you feeling stronger and more resilient on and off your mat.
This class is recommended for practitioners who are familiar with yoga.
Shea Barringer

She hails from San Diego, CA. A self-described former gym rat and runner, and current outdoor enthusiast, Shea describes yoga as the only exercise she’s ever looked forward to. She believes it provides an amazing combination of athletic challenge and all-over physical and meditative benefit. And it’s cheaper than therapy! Shea comes to the mat with a calm and grounded energy and is particularly talented with her assists. She has a passion for cooking, hiking and movies. Shea is creative and fun-loving and she brings that wonderful energy with her into the yoga studio.

Fun fact: Bev has 2 birds Bilbo (parakeet) and Sunshine (cockatiel)… one of them she rescued on the side of the road on the way to WheelHouse!
From Bev: I love adventures! VA has always been my home but I love to travel and eat all kinds of interesting food along the way. I enjoy running (especially in a tutu or costume) and being outside!
