Sherri Weaver
Fun
fact: Sherri started bowling at the age of 7 continuing into adulthood with a highest game of 279!
RYT - 500: Sherri discovered profound self-love and self-acceptance on the yoga mat. As an accomplished professional hair stylist with a life-long disposition of wanting to make people happy, her biggest joy is a smile on her clients’ faces. She simply sees it as drawing forth inner beauty that already exists in all of us. But a lifetime spent trying to make others happy resulted a lost in her sense of self, and a gradual neglect of her own well-being. It was through her yoga practice that Sherri re-discovered not only her body and mind, but also her spirit, through self-love.
Sherri’s yogic journey is continuously transforming her mind and evolving her life. It is in the welcoming, peaceful, safe, and contemplative environment of the yoga room that Sherri’s inspiration to become a teacher is the most evident, as she generously shares her love for the flow, gratitude for its physical and mindful teachings, and her sheer joy to be a part of her students’ yogic journey.
Outside of the yoga room and beyond the Hair Salon, Sherri is a mom to 4 girls, enjoys going to the movies, reading books , spending time with her granddaughters taking beach trips with her husband Kevin!

Lin Rudder: RYT-200
Lin is a full time HS English teacher who found yoga to deal with the stress of teenage-eyerolls. A yoga practice with her is filled with a lot of laughter, sweat, and playfulness.
We are excited to have her energy first thing in the morning (and anytime you get to see her!)

From Amanda: (ERYT-500)
I believe that yoga is the most powerful tool in the world to elevate ourselves, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. We can refine our bodies through the physical study of yoga postures and clarify our minds through powerful meditations and visualizations. Through this transformation, we begin to manifest our destiny and fulfill our life’s work.
My practice started in the the 26+2 hatha yoga tradition. After 3 classes I was hooked, and I saw the benefits quickly: better flexibility, increased mood, and decreased weigh. I wanted to serve others and share what I had learned by studying to be a teacher, and I attended Hot Yoga Teacher Training in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. In addition to teaching, I spent several years competing on the national level, and I enjoyed the mental clarity that developed from asana (posture) demonstration.
More recently, my personal practice has evolved to include the more subtle aspects of yoga, as well as different styles, like Yin and Vinyasa. This led me on a journey to New York City to study asana, mantra, and kriya yoga with Jared McCann, where I spent two summers with him and graduated from his advanced RYT-500 program. I was able to find a system of meditation and yoga asanas that leaves me feeling comfortable and stable in my body and mind. I hope to share some of this with you the next time you take my class. If you feel that yoga has changed your life for the better, be sure to share with me—I would love to hear about your yoga journey!

CJ Pascoe
RYT 200
CJ discovered yoga in 2007 trying to counteract the physical toll of sitting at a desk for 40+ hrs a week. Before long she found it not only strengthened her body, but also her mind + spirit. The unique balance of effort and ease was exactly what she needed and she found herself sneaking out to practice whenever she could. CJ continued her practice for years before completing her Fluid yoga and SPA yoga trainings in 2019.
Fun Fact: CJ signed up for teacher training after taking her first class at Wheelhouse Yoga. She had long been searching for a studio that “felt like home” and she knew she’d found something so special that she wanted to share it with others.
CJ specializes in restorative and vinyasa styles, and her classes are known for their calming and supportive atmosphere.
In her free time, CJ enjoys photography, kayaking, gardening, and spending time with family and her dog, Timber.

“because laughter is the best medicine”
Hillary strives to create space for her yogis to practice in a way that challenges their perceived abilities, embrace their beautifully messy YOUniqueness, be playful, and nurture their spirits along with their funny bones.
Hillary found yoga after a lifetime of organized sports, competitions, and the no pain no gain mentality… yoga has taught her to flip the script. Ironically, the dropping into the moment paired with no pain is the gain, has become her secret to adulting. Her mat is a constant and evolving place of refuge.
You might also find Hillary yoga posing at a PSU tailgate or as a fallen angel in the outfield on the sidelines of a football game.
