A 6 week series to begin or enhance your daily meditation practice. Immerse in community, experience support from your sangha, expand your personal and spiritual perspective. Each week is cultivated to have a compounding effect on your overall happiness and contentment! Studio space will remain open after each session to enjoy lunch with your sangha and/or have quite space to work on your practice.

Alyson Franca Pollard

Alyson Franca Pollard is owner of WheelHouse Yoga in Clifton, Virginia. With a mindful approach to building her practitioners confidence and ability in their yoga practice, she ensures that one feels accomplished where they currently are in their practice, while safely building to and sprinkling in glimpses of what the next level holds. The union of breath and movement, and mind and body are the foundation of her classes, while enhancing her teachings with a subtle spiritual influence. Alyson is committed to furthering her studies and practice to better enhance the experience of her students, ever evolving. Compassion and service to others, mixed with a little fun and not taking herself too seriously are the foundation from which Alyson's
teachings are formed.
Alyson joyfully studied with Fluid Yoga school, and continues to work closely with the school through retreats, trainings and workshops.
Outside of her love of teaching yoga, she is mother to 3 wonderful children, and as a family they enjoy time outside and sports throughout the year. It's a toss up between mountains and beach, but toes in the sand with a book in hand is Alyson's favorite place!

Fact: “I take a nap every day”
Tamara lives by the saying "Live Well. Be Well." Born with a congenital leg length discrepancy, Tamara, an avid runner and athlete, begin experiencing tons of pain with movement in her twenties. Living in San Diego at the time, her Ortho Suggested pilates to help manage her pain. Within weeks of her first pilates class, Tamara was working on being pain free. It was the opportunity to live without pain that convinced Tamara to quit her job and become a pilates instructor with the goal of helping others do the same. Enter…YOGA! When worlds collide, opportunity arises - and Tamara took this precious opportunity to further help others by getting her yoga certification with Fluid Yoga at WheelHouse, deepening her spiritual path and truly teaching the mind body connection.
Tamara believes when yoga and community come together magic is created… an understanding that we are connected and a part of everything in the universe.
Her passion is working with people who are trying to heal their bodies. She loves to laugh and when she isn't at the studio, you will find her eating breakfast for dinner, having dance parties with her kids or standing on her hands!
