Kevan Gale
Mindfulness, Yoga and nature have played an important role throughout Kevan Gale’s life. Influenced at an early age, Kevan was first introduced to yoga by his Aunt and Uncle while they lived in the United States before moving to India where they created a 350-acre wildlife sanctuary.
As a US Trustee of SAI (Save Animal Initiative) Sanctuary, Kevan continues to work closely with his Aunt sharing both yoga and their love of nature. Kevan’s grandmother also played an important role in his life, imparting in him her Native American roots and respect for Mother Earth. This early introduction to the natural world led Kevan to pursue degrees in Environmental Sciences and later a career in environmental consulting that spanned 12 years.
Kevan had the good fortunate of meeting his current teacher Khenpo Lama Migmar, Harvard University Buddhist Chaplain, who he has studied with for over 15 years. He left consulting to fully dedicate his time to yoga, mindfulness and Buddhist teachings. He owns Fluid Yoga and Stil Studio in Dedham MA where he shares the path of yoga and mindfulness. Additionally, Kevan teaches mindfulness at Northeastern University where he is currently working in collaboration with Dr. Dudley to expand the host of offerings to mindfulness students.

Megan Charneco
Megan found yoga in her own search for peace, meaning and movement. A great friend recommended WheelHouse and she now cannot imagine life without yoga or the Wheelhouse community.
Megan seeks wonder and joy in the everyday through her yoga practice, long walks outside, shared laughter, exploration, curiosity, and constant learning.
In her vinyasa styles classes, she invites you to rediscover your wonder and deep knowing through the joy of mindful movement and in letting go of what life should look like. She is a catalyst to fostering connection—both on and off the mat—between body, mind, spirit and in her community and hopes to help her students reignite the flame, flow, love and limitlessness within.

Outside of her love of teaching yoga, she is mother to 3 wonderful children, and as a family they enjoy time outside and sports throughout the year. It's a toss up between mountains and beach, but toes in the sand with a book in hand is Alyson's favorite place!
You can experience her teachings at WheelHouse Yoga, special events and retreats.

From Amanda: (ERYT-500)
I believe that yoga is the most powerful tool in the world to elevate ourselves, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. We can refine our bodies through the physical study of yoga postures and clarify our minds through powerful meditations and visualizations. Through this transformation, we begin to manifest our destiny and fulfill our life’s work.
My practice started in the the 26+2 hatha yoga tradition. After 3 classes I was hooked, and I saw the benefits quickly: better flexibility, increased mood, and decreased weigh. I wanted to serve others and share what I had learned by studying to be a teacher, and I attended Hot Yoga Teacher Training in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. In addition to teaching, I spent several years competing on the national level, and I enjoyed the mental clarity that developed from asana (posture) demonstration.
More recently, my personal practice has evolved to include the more subtle aspects of yoga, as well as different styles, like Yin and Vinyasa. This led me on a journey to New York City to study asana, mantra, and kriya yoga with Jared McCann, where I spent two summers with him and graduated from his advanced RYT-500 program. I was able to find a system of meditation and yoga asanas that leaves me feeling comfortable and stable in my body and mind. I hope to share some of this with you the next time you take my class. If you feel that yoga has changed your life for the better, be sure to share with me—I would love to hear about your yoga journey!

Kelly Layfield
Fun Fact(s): Kelly IS fun! She is an original co-founder of WheelHouse in 2015. She once danced in the opening number at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, makes a mean sushi roll, and for you Ted Lasso fans…some say she looks like Rebecca (we agree!!)
Kelly was working in Chicago and came upon an early morning yoga class one day and fell in love. It was just what her body needed to destress and feel connected again. Living in the hustle and bustle of the city, Yoga was therapy for her mind and body. As she moved to other places, yoga continued to be a consistent in her life.
As a former dancer and mover, Kelly became certified in Pilates and incorporates the practice into her yoga classes. After teaching fitness for over 20 years, Kelly decided to finally become 200hr Yoga certified with Fluid Yoga at Wheelhouse Yoga in 2015.
Fun, functional and fluid flowing classes is what Kelly is about. She loves to see her students happy, moving in their body and discovering just how strong they really are. She believes yoga can help you move past obstacles, not take life to seriously and learn to love yourself inside and out.
You can find Kelly running, swimming, taking barre classes, walking her 2 yellow labs, cooking for her three kids or riding her Peloton. Kelly believes consistency and variety is the key to fitness and of course the spice to life!

Hillary strives to create space for her yogis to practice in a way that challenges their perceived abilities, embrace their beautifully messy YOUniqueness, be playful, and nurture their spirits along with their funny bones.
Hillary found yoga after a lifetime of organized sports, competitions, and the no pain no gain mentality… yoga has taught her to flip the script. Ironically, the dropping into the moment paired with no pain is the gain, has become her secret to adulting. Her mat is a constant and evolving place of refuge.
